It is very important for one to elevate oneself. This is a universal call, a common aspiration. All of us feel an urge to elevate ourselves to the higher pedestals. But this requires determination with a sound moral system, that stands on the firm foundation of good principles followed by healthy practice with a sense of self-discipline and patience. This is not a job that can be transferred or assigned to someone else. One must do it by oneself. This encourages competition and helps the society to grow in its high esteem.

Self-elevation has its significant role to play in all walks of life, in all sections of the human society. This is a simple rule. Whatever you do, put your best efforts into it. And, you will become better. Make yourself a reference to compare yourself with daily. Try to improve your performance daily. Learn from what you did wrong. Don’t get distracted. Stay calm. Stay composed. Help yourself make better decisions for you. Read a lot. Share your experience. Discuss your plan with your elders and incorporate their wisdom into it. Mix and match the various opinions. Believe in the application of learning. Enjoy higher accomplishments.
Now, can we really think that one can do all this by delegating the work to others? The simple answer is “NO”. All these efforts come from within. Igniting one’s mind, eagerness to accomplish, self-actualization and the like develop out of one’s own thinking and action. It is always better to realize this truth early in life.

Elders, in the family and at the workplace, should understand their responsibility of sharing this very truth with youngsters. When this sense of responsibility awakes collectively in the conscious of its members, the society rises to reach new heights. This is a continued process for the society to evolve. But, as responsible individuals, this is our call to keep this process accelerating. This, indeed, is a great service to the society and to the country. Nations have progressed by adopting this simple truth and effort. We ourselves have done this many times in the history. Our own struggle for independence poses a great example of the individual conscious working in unison for a glorious goal. Let’s think and act, together.
May we develop an India of our dreams by our effort in quantity and quality! We wish you all good! 🙂
